Privacy Policy

Japan Flights is a read-only static site. It does not collect or store any information about visitors.

What we collect

Nothing. There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, no forms, no comments, and no submissions of any kind. The site is generated server-side by a scheduled job and served as plain static HTML.

Cookies and storage

No cookies are set by Japan Flights. The browser's localStorage is used only to remember your preferred view (list vs. table) and to dismiss the "How to read this" panel — both purely local to your device. Neither is shared with any server and there is no way for us to read them.

Analytics and tracking

None. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no Segment, no fingerprinting, no pixels, no third-party JavaScript trackers. The only third-party requests the site makes are to Google's web-fonts CDN for typography, served from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com.

Outbound links

Every price on the site links to Google Flights, where the actual booking would happen. Once you click out, Google's own privacy policy applies. Japan Flights is not affiliated with Google in any way and receives no referral or affiliate revenue for those clicks.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare keeps standard request logs (IP address, requested path, response code) for short periods as part of its CDN service. We do not access, query, or aggregate those logs.

Changes

If anything about this policy ever changes, the change will be made directly in the repository's history at github.com/gaijindev/japan-flights.
